Like new, or very good condition XTR's are going for outrageous prices these days on GunBroker - depending on the chambering of course. There's a 257 Roberts listed now at $2300+ with a day to go. There's also a 7MM Mauser at $1000 with 5 days to go. That one will go over 3K at the end of the auction.
I lost out on a 7MM Mauser a few weeks ago and my final bid was 3K. That one was in like new condition with lots of pics.
Your rifle is beautiful and I wish you luck. It's a great round in a great rifle.

Win FWT XTR 1980’s Red Recoil Pad Push Feed 7x57 went for over $3,000 ????!
That's correct. My final bid was $3000.00 and I lost the bid. It went for a few hundred higher than that. It was new, never fired and a beautiful piece. I wanted it but someone wanted it more.
There's another one listed now that's stalled at around 1K with about a week left to go. I'm not bidding but that one will go past 3K I predict. We'll see. There's a 257 Roberts that ends today and that one is at $2300.00 now. It will go higher.
Like I said in a prior post, things are getting spicy in the used gun market for certain models.

WTF is wrong with people on that site!?
Personally I think there is a lot of fake auctions planted by gunbroker itself to create hype and the sense that their site brings the highest sales prices. Therefor people see the high prices being sold and decide to list their firearm through gunbroker which then makes a percentage of the sale of every item. Perfect plan really. Create a software that dummies up auctions every so often to create the buzz and attract future listings from the observers. They obviously don’t charge themselves the commissions on such auctions so no real investment on their end besides paying somebody that can recognize a trend and exploit it. No proof just my thought on the subject.
