Is that the Ranger model? I dont believe so. As I understood the Rangers didn't have sight hoods? Or perhaps I misread that somewhere.

Looks like a standard Model 94. Serial number check will tell you date. Probably 1980's based on rust spots. They are real common in this era. Don't know why, but I see it a lot.

bore/barrel are excellent. Cant say as to how much its been fired but given the lack of wear, it cant be much.
