Was this powder ever corrected or was it just discontinued? Anybody know for sure without contacting Hodgdon's.

As far as I know it was discontinued, and it doesn't appear on the IMR webite.

I found the same thing as you state. I wonder what was wrong that caused the rapid decomposition of this powder? I have ask at the Shot Show booth of Hodgdon's and nobody knew or would not talk.

I just saw a few cans of this at a LGS. I never used it but was wondering why it was still on the shelves when everything else was gone.
I'll tell the LGS about the issue. They may not know.

They recalled all of it. If you have any, go to their website. They have instructions on how to send the lot numbers to them. They paid me $70 for the two pounds that I had. You don't ship it back, just safely dispose of it.

I will have to check the website. I have some of it. But months ago, maybe a year or so when I was on their site it was just for certain lot numbers.

I believe the changed the recall. Its a shame as I like this powder in the .307 and .308 Winchester.. 4007SC was interesting as it was easy to compress. I wish they could have fixed the storage issue.

Yep, it was recalled. I sent in a digital photo and they sent me $35 per #.

Dang I just threw a pound of this out because it looked like it was growing mold in the jug. Also threw out a batch of 4007 SSC-loaded 9.3x62 that was turning green at the neck and splitting.
Think they’ll pay me for those Accubonds? 🤔
