Hey guys, been looking for a model 70 stainless 7mm wsm, and ended up with two of them. A BACO extreme weather, and a classic sporter(I think). I’m assuming(didn’t have time to mess with them both) that they both have the same barrel profile. I’m planning on keeping whichever one shoots the best. Then, I’d like to put a lightweight stock on that gun. I’m looking for recommendations on the best/lightest stock. Was considering a McMillan featherweight pattern or compact hunter, both with edge fill. But what are some of my other options for stiff, lighter stocks. The classic is already in a McMillan stock, but I think it’s the classic pattern, with cheek piece, and no edge fill. So it’s a little heavier than I’m looking for. I’d also like to purchase used, if any of you fellows have a line on something out there.
