My wife has a like new 20 Ga. Iver Johnson 'Champion' that has a super hard hammer to cock (even for me and my hands are pretty strong). Any suggestions on how to rectify this problem? (I also have a clone of it as my 'cabin gun', which probably was made by IJ and sold under a store name about 70 years ago.) The hammer on this gun is no where near as hard to cock. Tell me what to do.
