I have TriggerTech Primary being put on a clone action. I notice that despite what the trigger pull scale says, the pull feels heavy compared to some other triggers I have (Timney, Modified Factory, and even other TT Primary). My brief research on the subject leads me to believe it is the sear engagement, which can't be adjusted on the TT.
I know TT are well regarded, but I find the feel just a bit annoying on this one and may opt to sell/trade for a Timney. Before I go down that route, anyone experience this same issue and have a solution?

That’s the problem with the TT especially on some clone actions.

If you are taking off the TT on a clone action I'd go Jewell over a Timney any day

It’s a hunting rifle, too many stories of Jewels failing.

Which clone action? There was some posts on snipershide regarding TTs and Bighorn actions. However, I thought TT addressed it and mentioned that it was their higher end TT.

Id go Bix n Andy over a Jewell. And I believe it's correctable on Bix n Andy's.
I've never shot a TT. But, I can't imagine a trigger being any better than the Tacsport Pro in my rifle. Had a Dakota in it and it's going to a hunting rig.

Did you set the pull weight with the bottom metal off the action? I have had to file the trigger off some to get it to clear the bottom metal on several rifles. It will go together fine but the trigger touches the bottom metal and it makes it not want to brake. The pull weight seems super heavy but it is because the trigger is slightly touching and will not let the trigger function properly.
