Not really interested in changing out bottom metal to another brand, etc......does anyone make a 5 round detachable mag that fits the Tikka Factory bottom metal CTR? Just plug and play? Thanks.

Yes, Beretta offers a Tikka CTR 5 shot magazine on their website. I have a couple. It looks exactly like the 10 shot magazine except it only holds 5 rounds.

It's been a couple of years; but, if I recall correctly the MDT magazines worked in my CTRs.

Thanks, but I'm wanting something more low profile that doesn't stick out below the trigger guard.

I’ve looked but I think we are stuck with the 10rd CTR mags. They are great mags, just a little bulky.

I just looked at one, seems you could cut it right under the latch hole, and Tig a new base plate on there.

Shooter, I actually thought about that, but not sure I'm a skilled enough welder to finish it. Good idea anyway.
