All the snow storms have reminded me of a good samaritan i'd like to thank.During the 2010 storm,my sister slipped and fell on the ice next to a busy street.When she tried to stand,her knee popped and her foot was facing 90° to the left,as she was lying there in pain and crying,a total stranger pulled over,covered her with his coat and called 911.He stayed with her until the police came. We never found out who he was,but i'd sure like to thank him.
It's nice to know there are still some good people out there.

At night, I look back on the day and ask myself if I made anyone's life better that day - maybe even just a smile and a hello, but hopefully something more. If I can't come up with anything, I consider it a wasted day.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

My kid slipped and fell Friday night and popped her knee out.
But she just got in the house.
Dunno if surgery needed or not.

Years ago, similar happened to my granny.
She lived a isolated dirt road. Was walking to mailbox and fell, unfortunately right beside an ant bed. Couldn’t get back up.
Good lord was watching. That day just happened to road grading day. Grader operator saw her and called for help.
If not,for him ,who knows when traffic would have came by. Or traffic going slow enough to notice her.
