OP Fifth Campfire Regular Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 1,233 ZionCurtain, USA	Miroku (2011) Winchester 1886. I had a local smith color case harden and cut some checkering into the stock. Exactly eight rounds fired before I sent it off to the smith. This one has not been hunted with yet but will get broken in if it doesn't sell. I have this up locally as well. Price is $2k plus shipping. Thanks for looking.

I think all the Winchester levers are made by Miroku since 1987? I think levers are highly underrated for hunting. I can't think of a better platform for walking the woods. With enough practice one can get good placement on the long shots in the clear cuts
