This is an amazing Google map that shows all the radio station around the world. Each green dot represents a radio station. If you rotate the globe and let the circle hover over the location selected it will immediately play the station and with great clarity. Rotate to the east coast of Ireland and you can hear Irish pub music. Rotate to Colombia and listen to a rumba! You don’t need the app to try it but the app is free and you can download to your dashboard. www.radio.garden

What's sad is that if you go around the country, and around the world, the radio stations are SO much the same. Few play regional or traditional music. Lots of technopop, of course. SO many stations in Europe play "American" music, or other music in English. Go to the remote mountains of Northern Sweden and hear... 60's oldies. The middle of Germany, Rap. Lithuania, Czechia, Switzerland.... English, English, English.
LOTS of 70's-80's music. You can go almost anywhere and hear... Phil Collins.

Best radio stations seem to be in New Zealand for my preference. No whiney assed crap.
Also I found a metal music station in China. How does that not get taken down by the commies ? LOL
Caught some Dolly Parton on in Tahiti. WTF ?
