The install went fine but I can’t figure out where to relieve the stock to get the safety to work freely when the rifle is in the stock.

When you engage the safety a small round bar move to the opposite side of the trigger . Take the barreled action out of the stock . Look at the end of the ba holding it up so you can see the pin move out on the other side . I’ve done a dozen of these and couldn’t understand why timney doesn’t show some pics of this . You only have to remove a small amount of wood to make the safety to work . When you see what I’m explaining , put some Jaro black or red lipstick on the pin . You will see the spot on the inside of the stock. Good luck
