I would guess they knew for sure the thing was totaled before they ever put a tow strap on it. On its wheels, it might, make that, would have rolled down and into the Dodge.

Looks exactly like something I and my buddies would have done to avoid a wrecker bill on a totaled rig.

It would have been easier though with an Uber Avalanche, a winch mounted to the roof, and a mile of cable.
