I’ve had a lot of pets over the years, dogs, cats, parrots, horses... Only one I ever had cremated, my Tonkinese cat. She lived till 20 and was a great friend.
She was a 100% indoor cat, never went outside. So, after 12 years of having her ashes at home, I’m trying to decide what to do with them. Doesn’t make sense to hang on to them, there’s no “shrine” for them, but because she was and indoor cat and terrified of outdoors, I don’t think it’s right to her memory to spread her ashes outside.
Interested in what y’all think.

Some places will make them into a gemstone of some kind for ya. Wear it as jewelry or?

With due respect, your pal is gone now. An outdoor burial is fine. She won't be cold now. You need to do something permanent with them to keep the decision from falling to someone else later.

Got houseplants? Long lived ones?
I've scattered ashes in the ocean, and buried them next to trees so I know where they are. But an indoor cat brings up special issues for sure.
If not using them for a potted plant, find someone that could incorporate them into a pottery piece perhaps (says the man who's wife does pottery).
Think wannabe, think.
You'll come up with something, I'm sure.

The last dog I had before the one I have now was my best hunting buddy and lived to the ripe old age of 17. I took her ashes and sprinkled them at the burial spot I bought for myself. Figure we can get back together when it's my time.

Nice memorial

My dogs ashes will be mixed with mine and we’ll be buried together.

My dog's ashes, along with the ashes of my old hunting buddy of many years, went into the river we all loved. Ashes to ashes.

Told my wife to flush me when I’m gone....failed to get a laugh from her. She probably thinks you will clog it one last time for chuckles... Concrete / ashes doorstop in the shape of a cat? Cat shaped concrete garden gnome?

I don’t do tats, but I’m liking the idea of plant fertilizer or a garden ornament.
Someone sent me a link to have her made into a diamond. Starting price $4K US. She was a great cat, but...no.

Fire them out of a cannon?
Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?

I’ve heard of folks having ashes put in tattoo ink. When I go for my next tat, I'm going to look into this. I've kept my first K9's ashes next to my pistol locker in my closet, with plans to move him back into my cruiser. I can see getting his ashes mixed in...........I have the scars he gave me, might as well go a bit further

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.
When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.
PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

I put my own pets down if necessary. Bury them in the back yard.
