The one for the 700 will fit on the 788.

Per Timmy's web site, they are on back order. One would think since it does not say, no longer available, they are still being made. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

I will also attempt to solve the question, will a 700 will work on a 788?

No a 700 trigger will definitely not work on a 788.

Thanks. I checked Optics Planet a day or so ago and it says its a estimated to ship within 4-6 weeks. If I don't turn one up elsewhere soon I may go that route.
