Hello All,
I like carrying revolvers while in the woods and as a backup weapon.
I normally carry one or two Taurus 444UL's while in the woods and EDC with a S&W 4583 + ankle carry a mdl 37.
I looking to carry one revolver and wanted something a little smaller than the large framed 444, but also want something leightweight, with a longer barrel than the snub mdl 37.
I found the Taurus® Defender 856 ultra-lite 38 Spl +P and was wondering if anyone has handled one here ?
6 shots of +P and a weight of 17oz's has me intrigued.
Thanks,
Steve

I haven't handled one, but PSA has been getting them in stock lately for $299. I assume it's just like the m85, but with a 6 shot cylinder. I nearly bought one the other day, but bought another Taurus revolver instead. Got a model 942 (8 shot .22lr) for my wife. It's a decent gun & I've never had a Taurus that was a lemon.
