i have a 10/22 that i have installed a volquartson target carbon fiber barrel on. When i use my gemtech suppressor about one in 20 rounds wont eject, i end up having to pry the shell out with a small screw driver. when i dont have he suppressor on i dont seem to have this issue. any ideas? also i am just using bulk federal ammo. nothing fancy

Bulk ammo in a semi-auto can be a problem. Try Federal Automatch and see if you have the problem. Be Well, RZ.

Two things about running a suppressor a 10/22.
1. A lot of blowback occurs, pushing extra gas/carbon back into the action. Gets dirty/dirtier faster and can slow the bolt travel down which might be causing your issue.
2. Might need to run higher velocity ammo rather than standard velocity. The extra gas might help to work the action as #1 is happening.
Clean better. Clean more frequently. Lube well.

If you haven't done it yet, put a volquartsen extractor in it.
