$950 shipped UPS or $900 FTF in Central Pa. This is the last case of ammo from my Smallbore and Cowboy silhouette days.

Not true - if he ships it via UPS simple rate ground, it would cost him between $21.15 and $37.50 fully insured for $950. Those two rates cover the smallest option (100 cubic inches) from UPS to the largest (1,728 cubic inches - which is often enough to ship a full rifle).

My suggestion would be to check them out if you have to ship because you can use your own packaging!

Free bump for ya, Sir! With a hopefully helpful hint for your potential need to ship!

Right from the UPS site.....

"Will I Pay An Additional Fee For Shipping Cartridges, Small Arms?
When shipping Limited Quantities of hazardous materials by UPS Ground within the 48 contiguous states, UPS Ground Intra-Oahu or Intra-Alaska, only the standard shipping charges apply. There are no "accessorial" or additional charges."

Powder and primers are different than primed cases or loaded ammo.
