This week a little different than the week before when I had a .625" group out of RL-22 and this time not quit as tight a group but these will do. Went out last Thursday morning very early so it would not be so hot and fired my 416WBY again and here are the results.

This is one consistent bullet (350gr TSX) rifle (Mark V) and cartridge (416WBY). I love this rifle and it is so much fun to shoot. I could feel the blast wave go by me as the woods rumbled around me and a dust cloud went up about 15-20 feet in the air at the 100yd back stop. It was awesome!! I think my last group I fired which was the RL-22 120grs would have been a little better if it had not been the last group. But I figure not bad for the recoil and it will do when it comes to hunting.

Shoot for bone. I've heard the X bullets need to hit bone toproperly expand. grin

Yea the X bullet has to hit bone sometimes but this new ground squirrel TSX can open up on flesh and still hold together and make a real wound channel. laugh I thing I will be able to find something to track after I hit the squirrel cool not sure at this moment but one thing for sure TSX will expand. smile
