I would never give a dog away for free, Chance of a bad home or bait dog are high, Be sure to interview the new owners so the dog is placed in a hunting home and they understand living with a hunting pointer. I have owned dogs my whole life and if this works out the dog will be spoiled rotten and very well cared for.

I've been to Pittsburgh more than a few times, but have not driven there since 1970. It sure is tempting. What a beautiful dog. My wife says no, but she would change her mind if I brought it home.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

My buddy is going to contact everyone in the order that I received the PM's. North Dakota, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Maine have responded.
I'm doing my best to honor standard campfire etiquette.

I have tried to get him to adopt me numerous times.

I’m in Somerset PA. Was looking at Griffons since the lab doesn’t hunt. I think I’d be living in the barn with the dog for a week after the old lady found out, but this is worth discussing

If you change your mind 160 let me know. Change my mind about the dog? Nope, I am super excited and hopeful that I am the one that gets the call. As far as changing my mind about adopting Larsline, he actually inspired me to try to get a dog again. After seeing him trying to hump legs and lick himself I figure I can handle a young male dog again.

I know a fellow hunter who would be a good match for this dog. He recently lost his hunting pointer and needs a new four legged hunting buddy. He lives in PA as well. I'll send you a PM with his contact info.

The dog is supposed to be picked up tomorrow evening by a dog hauler and is headed for North Dakota. Once he's picked up I'll post and confirm he is gone.

After I had to put my last one down I said I would never go through that again yet I am just lost without one. I am just waiting to hear back from the owner if I am the lucky recipient.

Darn, well as long as he’s going to a good home and gets to hunt that’s what matters
