I would appreciate if anyone can give me the name or number of a craftsman that could repair that nasty chip in the stock of my 99.. I live in upstate NY Saratoga region..I`ll try to get to the savage fest maybe find a connection there....Thanks

Actually, it's not so nasty from the pic. Seen lots that are far worse. Top of the line would probably be Doug Turnbull, don't know what he'd charge for something like this. Others here probably have quality guys that cost less than he would. www.turnbullrestoration.com

I'd leave it as is. Repairing it will drop its value, leaving it alone with help retain its value and its character. Turnbull does exceptional work, IMO leave it alone.

Just sent Doug Turnbull an e-mail I`wait to see what I have to do and how much...Nice web site must do great work...I`ll pass this on to some friends that collect old parkers, thanks.

Don't need to fool w/that chip...and if Turnbull don't tell ya the same thing...I'll be surprised.
