I'll be attending a meeting in Tucson from the 21st through the 26th of September; that leaves me a weekend free. I see that dove season is closed then, but band-tailed pigeon is open. I've never taken a band-tail before and I'd like to add one to my life's death list.
Without giving away your exact honey-hole, is there someplace within a half-day's drive of Tucson where I could go and get a chance at taking one? And, of course, where might that be?
Any help would be mightily appreciated.
