I have a S&W revolver, can't make the photo small enough to upload, that I'd like to find out what model it is and approximate value, any insight would be helpful. I have the serial # but not sure which parts are needed and don't want to post entire #. Thanks!

Gunbroker.com Find a similar revolver listed and follow it to see what it sells for.

Can you dump the serial number and some key boards into a search bar of your favorite browser?

Can just simply text a pic to someone on here?

Swing the cylinder out and read what it says. Model # should be stamped in frame under barrel.

What's the model#? Barrel length? Pinned barrel? Grip style? You have the original Box?

I really don't understand why I can't upload these photos, it's hit or miss with it come to the being over the maximum size for uploading.

I'll do that, it's in the truck but I'll check when I go out, thanks!

If it was made before about 1956 or 7 there were no model numbers stamped on them.

My guess it's an 80s vintage. It's a typical double action, nickel plated, wood stocks, fixed sights, six cylinders. Looks to be a 3" barrel or thereabouts. I'm going to sell it, just need to know it's approximate worth.

Sounds to me like a model 10, although few 10's were nickel. A dull or bright nickel? Are you measuring the barrel from the front of the cylinder?

It could be polished stainless but I don't think so. I'll measure the barrel when I go to the truck. I can text a photo

Looks like a 4" nickel model 10. $400 judging from the pic. Good work horses.
