I've got a 12ga Winchester 97 with a no-screw action slide. It's missing the wood and the slide handle screw cap, and I'm trying to source parts - I'm in Canada which makes it a little tougher. Does anyone know if the slide handle and screw cap off of a Norinco clone would fit a Winchester? Alternatively, I know there are many similarities between the forward halves of later 97's and Model 12's - would the wood & cap off a Model 12 work? The gun is in pretty rough shape, I'm not too worried with keeping everything original.
