I picked up a 7x57 built on a Dakota Arms Miller action by Clayton Nelson. All I have is whitetail tags in Oklahoma this year, but I’m looking forward to taking it out.

Alamo Precision 28 Nosler. 1:8 Bartlein sendero fluted, Scott Weichel brake, McM Game Hunter edge fill, APA DBM, will be fed via 3rd Accurate Mags (the pictured 5rd is for the range only). Probably going to pull the 4-16 ATACR and mount an S&B.

I got another rifle built for Oct 2021, a rolling block Remington brothers made between 1879 and 1888.

It is in 357 max.
I have proof tested with 38 special
work up stopped at 13 gr bullseye Quickload 128,694 psi leaks around magnum small rifle primer

I have (4) tags
(3) mule doe tags
(1) white tail do tags

I was going to use a .358" 200 gr Nosler Accubond, but it does not expand below 1800 fps.
That would limit me to 100 yards.
I am now planning on .357" 158 gr Nosler sporting revolver that expands above 800 fps.
That would limit me to 200 yards.

Whoops!
I made a mistake reading Quicktarget.
The 158 gr will be above 800 fps out to 675 yards.
200 yard zero and 8moa max compensation will stop me at 300 yards.
