Spent last weekend scouting...note to self that it's a bad idea to scout on Labor Day weekend when every Subaru owner in Denver thought it would be a good idea to go camping in the mountains. Besides that point, we saw nothing. Actually didn't expect to. The goal was to check out a few new spots, none of which showed sign newer than last year. Glad we eliminated them. It's been so hot here. Still in the 80's in the mountains. We leave the 19th and weather is supposed to break before then. How is archery going for everyone else in CO this month?

I normally hunt in September but this year we're hunting in Wyoming, in October.

With all the hot weather and smoke, I'm kind of glad we decided to do that this year.

The last bull photo is from Colorado in a draw unit. Good luck to all the guys... using two sticks...one with a sharp point. : )

My nephew got his 6x6 with a 32 yard shot in the rain on monday. In Colrado looked like a 275 class bull from the pic .His bow was cranked to 72lbs behind the shoulder and out the other went 20 yards and dropped. That's all the info I have on it. Mb
