White's Boots. Expensive, but damned well worth it.

Whites Rancher Series.

Presently down to 4 pair. They will do custom fits and will rebuild them as well.

They used to do some exotic stuff (beaver tail, ostrich, manta ray, etc), but one was getting to some serious bucks with those materials.

You Sir are correct. Ariats are what I was thinking of.

I'm cool with Mexican boots.

They had some sharkskin Luchesse at the Fort Worth store that I tried on that were real comfy.

I have the horn back caiman, and one of the boots I had to take to the local store to have stretched.

I have some Tecovas black ostrich that are nice and comfy.

These Tecova Earl ropers look just like the Luccasses I had. Comfortable. I think I sold them here years ago.... They're available in goat, true goat ropers!
Can't imagine getting dandied up with fancier boots, anymore, and that's all I'm saying... Damned if this thread ain’t got me shopping a bit. Nevermind, I need nothing... Interesting Fire thread nonetheless. Good luck.

It freaks me out a little when men talk about their comfy cowboy boots.

STXhunter;

I've got a pair of lightly used Justin (dark brown) sea turtle boots in size 10 D that I've had for over 40 years.

Haven't worn them in almost that long. Put them up to "save" for special occasions.

If I could get HALF of what you got, I'd sell them in a hear beat.
