Like everyone else here...or most of us, I am looking for certain ammo and can't find it. For me, its the 444 Marlin and 7-08. Then, I had hope when I came upon:

www.opticsandammo.com
www.honorammo.com
www.discountammostore.com

They had everything I needed at pre-Covid prices. Wow! That alone raised an eyebrow, but not taking credit cards for payment caused my nose to pick up the distinct smell of manure. They wanted PayPal Friends and Family and other alternative forms of payment. A simple Google search shows that many folks bit and got the hook. These sites look legit until you make it to the checkout screen. Be careful.

People are really starting to panic in these parts. I was in four different FFL gun stores yesterday and over hearing phone calls from guys looking for ammo and not finding any. My kid is a last minute guy and if he doesn't find ammo soon, he is going to be like Barney Fife with one round in his pocket. The range is deserted because people are saving what little they have left. Okay, I could see the .38, .380, 9mm, .45 etc handgun stuff being hard to find with all the new pistols being purchased, but .270, .30-30, .30-06, .308 being all gone is a stretch.

My other auto is a .45

The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory

Get a RCBS Rockchucker, and dies.
Well, there is that issue of components, if you are just starting or didn’t learn from the last shortage.

Got a email from Rogers Sporting Goods 2 days ago and they were showing several types of hunting ammo. I have bought from them before and they are legit.

Never have understood people that will get down to 3 or 4 rounds of ammo before they start looking for more.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I need me some 20 gauge steel 6 shot. That is proving to be a unicorn.
