Canucks are uppity? Had no idea.... Guess it makes sense, the farther north you go in this country, the worse it gets. Trump gives me that $1200 I'm moving to Corpus, fishing and drinking beer til it's gone. You'd have a good time. Been to Dallas, Houston, all around East Texas, galveston....really want to get out to West Texas bad and then down to corpus for a stay. Lotta [bleep] talked on here about it, but I feel at home in Texas. I've met a lot of good people and had good times there. ancestors on my dad's side came out of Virginia and the Carolinas. Were there before the revolutionary wary. Mine were too. Paternal side arrived Nov. Of 1776, maternal side 1724. I live 30 min. From where they're both buried. I've moved, but always came back. German decent on both sides. Long line of poor white hill trash.

Listening now,....great interview. I especially like the way DocRocket explained the Canadian system.
I personally know of a 38 year old Canadian man who died of a heart attack 2 weeks after he started experiencing chest pains because he had to wait to get an appointment with a Cardiologist. Sad, had pains, went to see doc, told get to hospital, took me in, next day had stents put in, back home to recover, never had a delay for anything

Well done Doc! Excellent up-to-the-moment info there. This thing is changing so fast, so many people working on it, producing new data every day; it's good to have a solid scientific breakdown on the fly. Very interesting to understand the possible genetic viral shift occurring every 70 years. You had quite an epidemiology prof up there north of the border. I think he'd be proud of his student teaching others so eloquently. I'll be following your updates.

Hell 2 weeks is nothing around here . Most specialist take at least 5-6 wees to get in.After spending 24hours ina cardiac arrest observation ,I was suppose to see a cardiologist immediately. The wait time was 2 months

EdM, it's no surprise your experience in Canada with their healthcare system was a good one. It's designed to take care of healthy people really well. It's not great for the really sick or the elderly, though.
