Posted this in the hunters campfire forum but maybe some here can be of help..... A good friend asked me to research a camcorder for him and his wife(they are about to have a baby). He's pretty much a simple ease of use type guy,the simpler the better. Was thinking a mini DVD model so he can just go from camcorder to DVD player to view. Was looking at this model Sony DCR-DVD108 Digital Camcorder ...any experience or advise would be appreciated.

Check out reviews at www.camcorderinfo.comwww.cnet.comwww.amazon.comI always prefer to read the "user" reviews and not the experts that own the website since you never know who's paying advertising dollars. Since he's having a baby make sure he looks into ones that do well indoors, any camcorder will be okay outside in bright daylight. Also, make sure it has a shoe on top for the little add on lights, a little extra light makes a huge difference for indoor shooting. J
