Hi all, this is my recipe for ribs.

5 lbs thick pork ribs
4 lbs rack o' ribs beef

make a rub of the following spices
1/2 cup granulated garlic powder
1/2 cup granulated onion powder
1/4 cup powdered paprika
1/8 cup salt
1 tbls cayenne pepper( if you want)
1 tbls finely ground ginger

put rub on all the ribs, rub it in,then put another coat of rub on the meat
cover the ribs in serran wrap place in frig overnite prefer 10hrs in frig.

fire up the grill, get rack really hot, then turn heat down to min (gas grills)
for charcoal grills turn vents to 1/2 close postion. Place ribs on rack and slow cook for 3-5 hrs,or till done.( To add smoke flavor you can place some favorite wood chips on coals before placing grill on . For gas grill, put a hand full of favorite wood chips in a foil pouch,3"wide x 6" long directly on burner.) Comes out real tasty and tender. When done smother in favorite bbq sauce. Enjoy.
