How bad is the recoil on these pistols?I do reload.

Not bad at all, if you use factory 45/70. If you go the 450 route you are basically shooting a 454 Casull, with less pressure. I guess it depends on what you have or haven't shot before. I load mine up crazy with cast 385's, so I can take advantage of the long throat. My success with factory loads was zero, with handloads it is a one holer, 3 shots.
I am happy with the gun. Fit, dimensions and finish are very precise.
I just bought a 500 gr. mould!

glock you should buy the one for sale here, that 45/70 should put down them corn fed deer in your state pretty quick.
