Hey fellas, I know that the Williams extractors are no longer available direct or from Brownells.
Are the replacement from MWG of worthy quality for use as replacements?
Thanks!

All of the ones I've bought from either MWG or Numrich in the past year are marked M-R or S-R; pretty sure they are Williams. I think Numrich even shows this in the picture (and they are slightly cheaper than MWG). The extractors they replaced bent easily; these do not.

Just finished replacing the extractor in a Win. Classic CRF .338 Win. Mag. with a new piece I got from MWG. New extractor fit perfectly and looks to be same as original Win. part,it cured the problem. This gun was bought used and I believe someone had bubbaed the extractor.

We always replaced the extractors, magazine follower springs and had the pressed on bolt handle sleeve welded to the bolt on our Winchester Classic's. The ones from Williams were made out of spring steel and the OEM ones on many of the "Classics" were usually some kind of cheap "pot metal" and did not spring back if bent.
Darn shame Williams went out of business, I also liked their one piece bottom metal for the Mod. 70.
