Can onayone tell me what the ADL and BDL letters stand for in Remington rifles. I�ve been wandering about that for a long time

Kakalli,
ADL stands for Grade "A" Deluxe
BDL stands for Grade "B" Deluxe
When you get to "C" Most folks just call it a "C" grade or Custom grade. (Has presentation grade wood)
Next up is the "F" grade or "Peerless" grade. (Has gold inlays)
The preceding is just what I was always told and understood. It may or may not be correct. But seems logical to me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The practical difference between the two is the ADL has a blind floorplate, and the BDL has a hinged floorplate. Lots of guys on this forum choose the ADL blind floorpate for their expensive custom 700 rifles. I prefer it myself.

Hmmm, I never knew what the ADL stood for but always assumed the BDL stood for Bottom Drop Loading. I think yours makes more sense.
