Meet the new Zumbo. "Assualt weapons" should be restricted to military or police, and in any event limited to a 5 round magazine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSGySNLyACEThe man unfortunately claims to support the second amendment, but it totally clueless as to its meaning. I was on the sidelines about bashing the NRA for its apparently new "sell out" mentality. This clip has me thinking otherwise. Wow.

Reminding folks that Joaquin Jackson is still on the NRA board is a good thing... I am sending back every funds request with a note that JJ's presence means I will send nothing...

The NRA can be downright pesky about soliciting money - sometimes it feels like they call every day.
To be honest, it's been kinda nice having a great reason to tell 'em to pizz up a rope.

I'm thinkin'that this week's solicitation ( Yes, I get about one a week).....will be sent back with a check, .....marked VOID,
Attached to my letter.......I think the accounting Dept that recieves your hard earned just round-files anything that don't resemble $$$$.
We DO need Jackson gone..........it's the damn principal of the thing.
BTW, I'm glad this is back up, subject is worth keeping out front.

Sent the NRA an e-mail stating that a couple weeks ago.
Got a reply towing the party line about JJ being a staunch supporter of the 2nd and all that...
That's fine..... I'll use my money elsewhere.

NRA is a fund raising scheme anymore. I am sure my $35 goes into mailing me more soliciations. I enjoy American Rifleman, and am required to belong to stay in the gun club (period). Don't know about any of you, but I HUNT with a rifle, shotgun, and revolver. One of them holds 7, one 6, and several single shots. None of them are weapons. Which military/police should have assault weapons?? The present guy who runs over the Constitution, or the next one, who will also want to? What is with the nice business suit, BTW.
