During the last few years, I've whittled down the gun collection to a reasonable ensemble of sentimental, functional and esthetic favorites that I either use or handle with great pleasure. I've supplanted my "collecting" urges on camping gear, and now I'm nearing the time when some of this stuff must go. I think I've reached nirvana with a couple of packs, both small and large, but have been too lazy or hesitant to list my gear with the resultant narrative and photos. Suffice it to say, I've got three Kifaru packs (Longhunter complete set plus a guide bag, Late Season, and Spike Camp) that I haven't used in a while and need someone to take them over. Additionally, I have a Mystery Ranch Collection, including a Deluxe, a NICE frame with CrewCab and 6500 bag as well as two long pockets. I have a External Frame Bull-Pac Alaskan with bag that hasn't been used in years. I also have an Arcteryx NAOS 70 graphite that could go. I've recently taken delivery of a Dan McHale pack , and this is THE one for me, the search is over. I'll be developing descriptions/prices/photos etc in the next few days/weeks as the mood strikes me. If anyone sees something they are interested in, PM me. Once I get the packs straighten out, I'll sell some tents and be able to rent out my basement Don

Doc, I am looking for a good 4 season tent, if you happen to have one or an outstanding 3 season tent I would be very interested in talking to you about it. Thanks.

I'd like to take first stab at the Mystery ranch Crew cab and NICE frame, going to have to look up the Deluxe and see what it actually is.
Gear for sale: and the Alaskan sharks are smelling blood! (grin)

Randy, It would thrill me to know that a pack of mine is getting worn out in Alaska. Oh, it has a little Caribou brains stain on the inside cordura......is that going to be a problem? Don

Doc - I would be interested in a Kifura tent and/or stove for this fall when you get around to the tents. My email is pnelson292003 yahoo.com. Thanks, Preston

Ventucky, The spike is taken, but if you want me to put your name on the Longhunter, I can do that. Also, any interest in the guide bag? Don

I'm kinda eye-balling the current retail price and knocking off a third on the prices, which include shipping.....sound fair? Anything that's around a week from now, I'll probably give a try on ebay. Also, if you don't like it when it gets there, I'll take it back full refund within three days, if you pay the shipping back. Don

Some have asked about tents, and I do know two that I will let go, but haven't worked out prices. The Black Diamond First Light with vestibule and fibraflex poles (I think I have the footprint, too); and the Integral Design Mega Sola in green. The Black Diamond is a little too small (I seam sealed it BTW) for my 6' height, and the Mega Sola is great, I just always take the smaller Unishelter. Any interest?.......PM me. Don

Wasn't sure, either way no problemo.
Vernesto, bout any of the gear I have around you can figure is at your disposal.
Hope you get hungry for town food one of these Wednesday's!

Don, Which model McHale is your new pack? Have you had a chance to weigh it yet? Thanks, Dan

My McHale is a MB CM-II Full Dyneema dyed green, I ordered both tops (Hip top and Summit), as well as a shovel pocket. I haven't weighed it yet, but can get back to you with some numbers. Don

Dan, I've noticed that he's put my pack on his website, here It's the big green one with brown straps and black trim. The weight issue you've correctly hit upon, is the reason for my conversion. Nothing hits the tough/light target even close, like this one. Don
