He honestly doesn’t look that old to me. Fat, but not old.

For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

He honestly doesn’t look that old to me. Fat, but not old. How old do you think he is? Me, honestly, mostly I can't tell and I suspect most of the internet/YouTube deer hunting pundits can't either. Funny, once I was showing a Booner off up at the KDWPT office and asked everyone on staff, from the game biologist to COs standing around, how old they thought he was. Their answers ranged from 3.5 to 7.5. The biologist, by the way, pegged him at the youngest, 3.5 years old. Whatever that's worth.

I don't have a lot of experience with older deer and those are not great pics, but If I had to bet dinner I'd say 3, no older than 4. His back is not swayed, no Roman nose, the hams look small, there's no sagging skin in the face and not much gray in the muzzle. Oh and there's no junk or character points on that rack that are pretty common as a buck gets older. Again, that's just my WAG. I know I'd drop the hammer on him though!
