I watch Scott Adams every morning for an hour to immunize myself against believing any news.

His pitches are;
"follow the money"
"Persuasion took trump from 1% to winning the primary"
"If you are certain about anything, you are probably just opinionated"
"It is all fake news.... no one would click on the boring truth."

I'm getting to the same point.......

I get all my news over at the Democrat Underground. They seem to be the only rational, fair and balance source.

I'm convinced the TV News is trying to entice more people to commit suicide.

Neither do I - and I'm a meteorologist.

Only watch the local news.

Cash I don't watch it. I hear a little on the radio and it's from conservative sources. What the drive by media is putting out is not news anyway. It's propaganda.

Turned it off election night, has not been on with me in the house since.

It's not even really news. More like "news."

The "news" makes a lot more sense when you realize that the stories are picked and paid for by the world's wealthiest entities such as governments and multi-national conglomerates.

It amounts to thinly-veiled advertizing and propaganda for the heavy hitters like the defense industry, big pharma, big banks, etc., with the occasional benign pop story thrown in to keep up the facade/pretense of non-bias.

Wanna make a lot of money? Make a news outlet and sell slant to the highest bidder. The racket has existed since at least the printing press, its incredibly effective with modern advances in manipulating the human psyche, and it is perhaps the most important business in existence to those interested in acquiring and maintaining power.

i don't. i watch the local news for the traffic and big titty weather chick but thats it.

I watch cartoons....and frequent this place.

I haven't watched TV "news" in ages. Barely watch TV at all. If I happen to catch the "news" on TV somewhere, the cringing begins instantaneously.

My wife watches the Bravo channel.

That and college football on Saturday afternoon/evening.

I'm with everyone else, we don't watch news at our house. Since I don't do a lot of traveling anymore, I'm not even getting to hear the news at the top of the hour on the radio. Sure feel a lot better too!

My spaceship navigates the Earth's circumference every 15 minutes roughly, and I get to see from above what's happening everywhere, so I don't need to listen to the non-stop brainwashing their lying Communist propaganda is attempting to accomplish.

Lol ,the local around here was right less than 50% of the time, so one day I got a wild hair and called him up. Told him hot air rises cold air sinks that's why ground temps cool and if you would just look out the window before running your mouth your percentage of being right would go up.
