Finally a giant whitetail showed up. Was after him for a few days when I found this buck and could not passs. Overall one of the poorer horn years NE MT has had in forever. We really need to manage our buck population before there is nothing left.

I noticed the antler size on bucks in E Montana seemed smaller this year. I wonder if the drought had anything to do with it

I hunted SE Montana this year..... not a whitetail to be found any where.... in fact.... not a deer of any kind to be found anywhere....
Blue toung cleaned out the population.
Glad to see someone got a Montana deer somewhere.... those tags are expensive.

Well... we have come to the point.... where... the parasites are killing the host. It's only a matter of time now.
They only win.... when they cheat.
