I recently went to a Hells Canyon Speed 300wsm and was lucky enough a couple buddys had a little extra brass. i loaded mine down. Well Dad made a late decision to buy a new rifle like mine for an elk hunt. We could not find brass or ammo so I made a wanted ad here. I had an over whelming amount of people trying to help but found what we needed in short order. A big shout out to coltfan and limabean for sending brass/ammo for no or very little $. Dad is 70 and still hunting. My brothers, step mom and I went in and bought him a new VXD5HD for Christmas and he is set. Sure is a good feeling interacting with such good folks. There is also enough brass for a local young fellow. Merry Christmas everyone!

There are countless good folks on here. Every once in a while a dirt bag slips through the cracks but most are top notch guys.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I have to agree with you. There are some very good folks here that have cut me some very good deals when they didn’t have to. I try to pass that on as much as I can as well!

Glad to hear you were able to get what you needed. Sounds like your Dad is gonna have one hell of a rig to Elk hunt with. That new Leupold VX5HD is an awesome Christmas present. Good Luck on your Hunt and enjoy every day afield with your Father that you can.
