Variation on first name Michael/Mike.
I’ve noticed that none of the younger crowd uses nicknames any more. Johnathan, Veronica, Madeleine used to be John, Ronnie (or NIka) and Maddie.
We had Butch, Bernie, Mac, Rob, Bob. Nobody called us by our full name except our parents when they were pissed.

my nickname is Pete , my wife`s is Blondie ,she got that name when she was 20 years old now 65 from 19 when i met her she was 110 lbs , long blonde hair , very fit with a beautiful smile big blue eyes and all my buddies called her blondie she kept that 110 lbs tell she was 40 something even after 2 kids . when we went to bars and we were i our 30`s she still got carded at the front door she was pissed i said i should be the one pissed .
