Powder valley has some good powders in stock as of right now, just a heads up.

Must have sold out quick. I didn’t see any of the “good stuff” in stock.

I just looked through and the had IMR4198 and IMR4350 plus 5.6 Staball which some people were looking for. Plus lots of stuff that's been in stock forever.

That's more service rifle and "fast magnum" powder than I've seen in a while.

Natchez had some Staball and Leverevolution yesterday; hadn't seen either of those in a while. Haven't checked today, though.

I picked up 4 lbs. of Leverevolution from them just before I posted this. At that time, they had Leverevolution, Superformance, Reloader 17, Staball 6.5, IMR 4350, and IMR 4198, and a few others, but obviously, it didn't last long.

snagged some blue dot on Midway yesterday which I hadn't seen in a while. Looks like it's gone now, but maybe it will show up elsewhere soon.

Only powder I am really short on is Trail Boss, and I haven't seen any of that anywhere in a long time, even before stuff got thin last year.

For some reason, I've been finding the Winchester line of powders quite often. Scored on some pound cans of StaBall, W760, and W748 at MidSouth today. They're close to me, and I can just drive down and pick it up whenever I get the chance. I'm about ready to call it quits on powder, as I'm in really god shape.

About the only thing I'm really wanting reloading wise are some 6mm and 6.5mm Sierra bullets. They've been nowhere to be found.

Midsouth doesn't ship hazmat to IL... bastids. I have bought quite a few bullets from them in the past, though.

I suspect it has more to do with Illinois than with MidSouth.

It does. There are quite a few reloading supply stores that won't ship ammo or hazmat here because of the patchwork of different rules for different parts of the state.

What I have seen, regardless of the source, is when sought after powders become available, they go very fast. The Hodgdon site had Varget available about a week ago, but by the time I could key in my address and credit card info, it was gone. I’ve created accounts where I can so that I can place an order as fast as possible. That’s how I managed to get some Varget from Powder Valley earlier this week. I’m set for delivery on Saturday.

I got dang lucky... went to a LGS yesterday after work to get a pound of 244 Win to test, and they had A jug of Trail Boss, so I snagged it, too. That'll last me quite a while, but hopefully it isn't years before I see another jug.
