Picture taken a few days ago in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Not seen before. Think it’s a migration deer from up north. I have seen a bunch of deer from this camera. This one looks huge. What do you think it weighs?? upload pic

Could be 180 lbs. or more. She's huge.
Why do I have to press 1, for English?

Nice one for sure and what stands out to me is the pronounced muscles.

Man, that is one impressive deer.
Could it be a buck which has already shed its antlers? Not sure if I'm seeing pedicles or not?

I am thinking it ‘might’ be a buck that lost its antlers. I do have another buck that definitely lost his antlers. But picture is much better.
This deer is huge no matter the gender. Makes me think someone dumped steroids in a bait pile somewhere. Look at the muscle definition! Holy smokes man.

Boy, this time of year (post-rut), and looking that bulbous, I’m inclined to say it’s a doe. Seems the pedicles would rather obvious if it were a buck that’s cast antlers.

She is a heavy girl, I would guess 175 on the hoof.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Big girl, and they get pretty big in the U.P. in general. I'm guessing 190-200 on the hoof.

I shot a 150lb doe 2 seasons ago and she wasn't anywhere near that size. I'd say 195 - 200. And I'm not convinced it's a doe either, but what a hoss nonetheless!

I shot a doe in the UP on the last day of the season about 12 years ago. I knew she was old and big when I saw her a few days earlier. I wanted her aged, so I took her to the deer check station. They could only guess because they couldn’t get anything but a nub of a tooth out of her jaw. The biologist made an educated guess of 9 1/2 years old. I took her for processing and she weighed 161 lbs.

Looks like a thyroid problem to me. If that's the UP I'm amazed the wolves haven't run her down yet.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Looks like a doe to me and one that may go over 200 on the hoof..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
