I am really on the fence about this one, still not 100% onboard. I have parts ordered to duplicate this rifle except with a HCA carbon barrel.

I purchased this from 257heaven and the only thing I changed was the scope mount to get it as low as possible and added the paracord sling.

Older Rem 700 SA no-prefix action, action and bolt faces trued, then blued by Ray Montgomery, bolt given Ti fluting and lightening treatment by Kampfeld, Shilen #4 SS Barrel chambered in 358 Winchester, 12 twist and finished at 18.5", protected crown, bead blasted, .695" muzzle diameter, 1" shank from action face, factory walker trigger tuned and reworked to 3-1/4 lbs, McMillan compact McSwirly stock 60% purple, 20% tan, 20% gray, 13.5" LOP, 1" Pachmayr Decelerator, factory aluminum pillars, PT&G ADL Triggerguard, original ADL slotted screws, 7 lbs, 2 ozs with balance about 1/2" behind front action screw, purple and grey paracord sling, Leupold VX-3 2.5 - 8 X 36mm mounted in an extra low DNZ mount.

Selling as a package, will not split it up and buyer has the option to purchase as many cases of Winchester Super-X 200gr soft point ammo with the rifle as they prefer.

Target is 4rds factory at 100yds

It's a McSwirly, I am sure it could be painted, but I can't imagine why, the rifle in person is absolutely beautiful.

It is not bedded, but it does have pillars so it's a moot point.
