What replacement trigger for the HOWA 1500? I hate the factory trigger even more than a.savage Accu trigger

My brother put a Timney in his and seems very happy with it. It was a very nice improvement. Im sure there are multiple options available for that rifle.

The only replacement options I’m aware of are rifle basix and timney. I have a few timney triggers in them. All but one was great. The last one wouldn’t adjust as low as I like. A gunsmith friend of mine fixed it for me. It’s great now too. Red hawk did have the best prices I saw on them.

I run rifle basix in all of mine. Nice improvement. Jard makes triggers for it as well as a 3rd option. I have no experience with them though.

While I really do not care for a two stage trigger on a bolt rifle, I was able to adjust the trigger on my latest Howa down to 3 pounds with a rather easy fix. If I end up keeping the rifle, I'll probably go the Timney route some day.

I’m fond of my HACT 2-stage with a 25cent spring swap. I can’t justify $100 or more for a replacement.
Now with even more aplomb

I learned to tune the original single stage triggers and now like them as well as my Timneys.
Politicians and Diapers both need to be changed often, and for the same reason!

Timney. Excellent improvement, and very easy to swap.

I put a Timney in my Vanguard. Huge improvement over the crap trigger it came with but still leaves some to be desired, IMO.

I went with a Timney in a 1500 Mini .223. Totally worth every $. Useful ranch truck varmint rifle now, after changing to a B&C stock and new bottom metal from out in Oregon. Really , that was quite a bit to put into a "cheap" rifle. Oh well.
