I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

As a Canadian, I can say that many of us lost faith in the RCMP a few decades ago. They've changed from a national police force that a nation could be proud of to a national disgrace mainly because of politics. Good for this officer for finally seeing the light, but it's hard for regular Canadians to forget the High River gun grab, the events in Nova Scotia in 2019, the Vancouver Airport incident, and future gun confiscations.
