Not so much a Savage fan as a general levergun slut. Was able to score an "F" at a bargain last year & still keeping an eye out for a .250 Saddle gun at an affordable price.

I'm still around. Ben pretty quiet, though.

I'm here for the duration, I think. grin

Did really well not buying Savages the first 3/4'ths of the year. Then I fell off the bandwagon. Might be clearing out some duplicates this year.

I'm still here.

Haven't bought a 99,or any rifle, in two years... prices and availability being what they are. Recently got back into reloading, so spending money and time there. Also leaves more in the budget for out of state hunts.

Have two made in 1925 1899's. The .250 has an old scope that has two dots added below crosshairs. Can't remember the brands at this moment, but were well known in the day.

The second is a .300, with a tang peep sight. Both are great shooters, the 250 especially, no recoil and a scope for aging eyes.

Yes, I need to learn to do pictures.

I think a lot of us just do not have the collections and or the knowledge that some of you guys have. I do really enjoy the information and banter as I usually stop in everyday. Also, a lot of us have no frigging clue as how to post photos. A lot of us are on gunboards, the Marlin Collectors, etc. and photos there are a piece of cake. Here, not so much. Regardless, it is a nice place to visit. grin

Yes, photos are a pita here. It takes several steps. As far as discussions and not having a large collection, that's ok, we only talk about one at a time.

Well, it may be time for the 1895's photos to come out in public. Too damn cold right now.

that had signed in and there were 9
Not sure how long the gun & knife forum went but its great to see that for the past
20 years people have shared their knowledge helped others and encouraged new members
more than you can say for a lot of other social media platforms
