OP prewar New Member P Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 23 Bonnyville, AB	I just got a miroku 1895 in .270win. I see the front sight differs from other reproduction 1895’s in that the front sight is pinned as opposed to the usual dovetail that I see in pics. I’m thinking if I install a Williams FP-71 peep sight I’ll need a taller front sight. Anyone know if that’s gonna be necessary and who makes the proper taller front sight? Thanks…

They offer several heights for the blade type on a 95. I actually prefer the white stripe that is on theirs. I remember it not being in the catalog but I called and was helped quickly.
