Has anybody tested/noted the temperature stability with TAC in the 308 using bullets in the 150-165g range?
Thanks in advance!

I haven't shot it in extreme cold, but I tested a .308 load with a 150 grain TTSX and 46 grains of TAC at 93 degrees. I got 2905 fps from a 22 inch barrel. The load was only about 15 FPS faster than it was at 55 degrees. I'm planning to taking this rifle and load to Mozambique in September and I know it will be hot, so I was checking to make sure it was safe.

That's good to hear, cause my primary elk load I used this year was with the 150 TTSX, but with H4895. I have several lbs of TAC and was thinking about developing a backup load with it.
