I don’t own a scope with an illuminated reticle, and never even looked at a scope with one. Considering a leup vx-6 with the T-MOA illuminated reticle. Is the center of the reticle always red, and then able to be illuminated with the press of a button? If so, does the red wash out during daylight hours in certain conditions….sunny maybe.?
It's black until you activate the illumination. Depending on lighting and background you can then use the reticle as is or with whatever amount of illumination fits best with the idiosyncrasies of your situation.
IME, as far as the VX6, you might want to keep looking at a few other options.
