That is a nice lefty. I thought my 700 KS 375 was light but that’s got mine beat by a bit. Mine comes in at 7 pounds 10 ounces scoped with a VXII 3-9x and three rounds in the mag. Here’s a pair to hunt the world. Both lefty 700 KS Mountain rifles. 300 and 375 H&H.

Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I ended up buying it. Really interested in seeing how it shoots. Might be getting a different stock and bottom metal but Lex builds great stuff

Curious how you will find the recoil in a 6.5 pound .375 rifle. I had a 7 RUM that was quite tolerable at 8lbs in an LSS stock. Dropped it into a KS stock at 6.5 pounds. After two rounds, I decided that the KS stock was "too much of a good thing"...

Shaking my head here. It will be up for sale after he shoots it. You guys keep an eye out.. or I should say the next dummy keep an eye out for when it becomes available again.

Let's see it's going in an Echols Legend stock with Sunny Hill Bottom Metal.... By the time I mount the NF ACATR 1-8 on it with Tally Steel rings the [bleep] will be around 9.5lbs Just about perfect and I'll cut the break off... I have a .35 Whelen KS with a chopped 21" barrel with a Leupold 4X in dual dovetails that's 7lbs all up no brake and it sure lets you know what's up. But it's a SLOW recoil like the H&H.... Kills elk really well with 250gr NPT's at 2500ish...
Speed of recoil matters and anything RUM is vicious. These rounds with no shoulders, tapered cases, and moderate speeds while heavy are tolerable... Of course YMMV....

Ahhh... That sounds like a plan. 9.5 lbs all up in a Legend should be quite tolerable. Pictures when you get done !
